Episode 6
Watch Your Back

Synopsis
The final episode of the season detonates like a political bomb. Jasmine Cortez, the wildcard of the race, goes fully nuclear—accusing her rivals of corruption, cover-ups, and murder.
She charges Daniel with charity fraud, Bill with hiding the truth about Marcela’s death, and Jill with covering up the assassination of President Charles Sport. But Jasmine doesn’t stop there—she vows to target anyone connected to her opponents, drawing new battle lines in an already fractured political landscape.
As the story unfolds, Jasmine’s suspicions prove justified: Daniel and his wife Morgan are indeed guilty of charity fraud. Yet Jasmine isn’t the only one in their crosshairs. Constance Utter confesses that Morgan is far more terrifying than Daniel himself. Morgan devises a plan to frame a higher official for the crime, while Daniel’s complete lack of empathy—even toward his own children—reveals that his presidential ambitions were never about service, only greed.
Meanwhile, Bill grows increasingly uneasy as Jasmine questions why Marcela’s death was never investigated. He confides in Grace that this revelation could destroy the administration—a fear shared by President William Sanchez. Together, they move to confront Jasmine before she exposes too much.
In Jill Lunden’s war room, panic spreads over accusations that she lied to Congress about the Botswanian War and the death of President Sport. Her confidante Tracy Kincaid worries that Jasmine might uncover her own long-buried secret.
At the same time, Jasmine investigates something called the FF SuperPAC and Project Breckindale. Her aide and mentor Gregory Slotkins—who is also her godfather—warns her to tread carefully. He provides a final piece of information that leaves Jasmine stunned.
“This can’t be right,” she whispers—just as a door creaks open behind her.
“What do you want?” she says.
And the season cuts to black.
Connection to Previous Episodes and Books
Episode 6 ties together threads from across the Nazi America universe:
Bill and Marcela’s story, first hinted at in Episode 3, comes full circle as new evidence suggests a deliberate cover-up.
Daniel’s family life is finally laid bare, exposing his utter disregard for his children and the dangerous influence of Morgan, his most manipulative wife—first introduced in Episode 1.
Jill’s guilt over the Botswanian War and Sport’s assassination (first explored in Episode 4) returns to haunt her, threatening to destroy her entire career.
The FF SuperPAC and Project Breckindale, long whispered about across episodes and novels, finally surface as the key to a deeper conspiracy—one that may define the entire next season.
Analysis
Episode 6 serves as the season’s reckoning—a convergence of corruption, ambition, and fear. Every secret hinted at throughout the series finally collides in an explosion of truth and betrayal.
Daniel remains the series’ ultimate bogeyman, a power-hungry manipulator whose moral decay mirrors the system that enables him. But this time, Morgan steps forward as an even darker reflection of that world—her coldness and cunning making her the most chilling presence in the finale.
Thematically, this episode is about exposure. Every character has something to hide, and Jasmine becomes the embodiment of that dangerous truth-telling. Yet her courage isolates her, leaving her vulnerable as forces close in. The final scene isn’t just a cliffhanger—it’s a warning: power doesn’t die quietly.
As Season 2 looms, one question lingers—who will survive the fallout when truth becomes a weapon?
Critical Thinking Questions
In Episode 6, Jasmine’s pursuit of truth exposes systemic corruption—but at what point does exposing the truth become self-destructive?
Discuss how her moral crusade compares to the self-preserving deceit of Daniel, Morgan, Bill, and Jill.
Morgan and Daniel represent two faces of evil—calculated manipulation versus selfish ambition.
Which one poses a greater threat to democracy, and why? Consider how each character’s power is sustained by fear, loyalty, and denial.
